I'd like to say I've done a lot in the year since I last posted anything. But I haven't. Well... nothing exciting. Well... not too much exciting.
Been on some wild rides, some crazy adventures, but nothing out of the ordinary.
My art stuff has been taking off in some places, falling in others, and emerging in more
My jewelry is in a shop in Seattle called Bedlam Bedlam, and I've created one piece that I can reproduce that's been really popular on etsy. I've sold 12 Friends of the Ood Pendants and have plenty more.
Several of my comic book projects in the past year have either slowed down or fallen through. The one I was drawing for a friend has fallen through as we lost contact. My pet project is going REALLY slowly. I drew five final pages, but lost them (not permanently). I had a couple other projects, but they're either done, fallen, or going really slowly til I get to a scanner.
And lastly,
I'm an art major now! And I've never been more happy. You can see just about all the pieces I made (minus the comics) in my gallery right now
In other news...
I'm moving again. Charles and I are hoping to find our first house by May. I really love the apartment I'm in now, but we need a real kitchen, and our own laundry.
I got a fish... and it promptly died.
And I bought a Ball Joint Doll... DollZone sculpt name Tulip. I bought her exactly 3 months ago. She should be arriving any time, so you may soon be seeing lots of photos of her.
Spring semester starts in a little over a week (23 January). I'm taking Painting I, Drawing II, and Drawing the Human Figure (and Anthropology, for humanities credit).

Closed.
I haven't been here in a while, I don't care about it anymore. I'm done. I put all the art I've uploaded here into storage and am officially closing the book on updating this account.
I only came here to check up on a couple of artists I admire, and one of them closed her account recently, so I'm going to follow suit. I'm only keeping the account active to look back on some reference photos I've saved, and maybe see what the remaining artists I follow are up to <3
But for the most part, I've moved on.
Here are the places you can find me and my art:

Butt.
I'm trying to work on some more marker art. I specifically want to try pieces involving different lighting. I work with Copics, so if anyone has any cool tips, tutorials, or videos I can watch (regarding markers+lighting) to get my learn on a little quicker, I'd greatly appreciate it. Worked on one for a little bit today (my E000 ran out and I had to run all over town to find another because I didn't realize it was close to drying out and never ordered a refill), and thought I'd ruined it by treating the weird lighting like I was painting it with markers. Kept going anyway, whipped out the blending
Semester's Over. What Now?
I added a bunch of projects I worked on over the semester, from Drawing II, Painting I, and Figure Drawing, and am slowly putting together composites of figure studies I worked on, so I don't bombard you all with a hundred deviations from me. There are still a couple paintings I am working on, and I'll hopefully be working on more over the summer with my painting friends from class.
I also just added a couple photographs that turned out really well from my first adventure of the summer (of many to come).
Summer goals = change diet (go vegan, eat right, exercise more). make more jewelry for my shop, and promote it. clean out the apartment
Hu...wha...? Where Am I?
Holy crap, I've been off the DA grid for a LONG time. Well, I do have some valid excuses:
1) School went crazy and I tried to do it all, which put me waaay over my head.
1.5) (yes, I forgot to mention this earlier) My computer got a virus and everything had to be wiped out. Took til now to finally start restoring my bookmarks.
2) I fell into a deep depression due to my inability to keep afloat and my slipping grades, plus being very irritable to my boyfriend and putting a strain on our relationship.
3) I finally moved out! No, not out from the relationship. We're better now. BF and I moved out from our hell-hole apartment and into a
