Sci-Fi Lit In A Nutshell

If my professor of Sci-Fi lit doesn't reveal what the final project will be soon, I am going to take matters into my own hand and create a very useful piece of art that will lay insight into the course for future generations of students.  

My plan is to make a comic book depicting the "minute" versions of each of the books that we've read.  On the list, that's:

~Frankenstein (Mary Shelley)
~War of the Worlds (H.G. Wells)
~Starship Troopers (Robert A. Heinlein)
~2001: A Space Odyssey (Aurthur C. Clark)
~Neuromancer (William Gibson)
~Feed (M.T. Anderson)
~Down and Out in the Magic Kingdom (Cory Doctorow)

I have a pretty good idea about what I can do for Frankenstein and 2001.  Any tips on the others are greatly appreciated.
